Originally from the Pittsburgh Area (Greensburg, PA) I moved to the beautiful Central PA region in 1996 to continue my education at Lock Haven University. After completing three years as a photography major, I switched majors to finish with a BA in Graphic & On-Line Interactive Design.

Although photography has always been my passion, the graphic design field allowed me to explore the world of digital photography and hone other skills and techniques to put the finishing touches on my photographic visions. After graduation in 2001 I worked in the graphic design field at various locations before landing a job with the local newspaper as their photographer, eventually working myself up to become the Photo & Design editor. After working for the paper for 13 years, it was time for a change. I bit the bullet and purchased an old building in downtown Lock Haven with my family. We have renovated the first two floors. The first floor is now home to two commercial spaces and my new studio space is on the second.

Working for the paper allowed me to work daily taking pictures and perfecting my technique and post processing skills. I have taken any kind of picture you can think of, from portraits to covering hard breaking news stories. I also covered all sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, rugby, field hockey and more. From Little League Baseball to the Little League World Series; high school football to the sidelines at Heinz Field and Beaver Stadium - I've done it all. Although I have covered all sorts of topics, I am always looking for a challenge and find myself quite comfortable in any situation.

Over the years I have won numerous awards for my photography and graphic design skills from institutions such as the PA Newspaper Association, the Associated Press, and more. Whether you would like some on-location photography or studio shots, I'm the man for the job.
